The City of David is one of the more than 50 names by which Jerusalem is known.  King David, one of Israel's greatest warriors and figures who declared Jerusalem to be the Eternal capital and center of Jewish life.  Today, David's City and the imposing David's Citadel, along with the Western Wall and the Jewish Quarter, mark Israel's return to her ancient capital � the City of David.  This will be a glorious reminder of Israel's history but also of her future.
